Terms of Service

Ezee2Host (“Ezee2Host”, “we”, “us”) provides web hosting, email, and domain registration services under Medialix Communications LLP. By using our website or services, you (“you”, “user”, “customer”) agree to these Terms of Service (“TOS”), which form a binding agreement between you and Ezee2Host. These TOS cover all services offered (hosting, email, domains, etc.) and incorporate our Privacy Policy. In particular, any processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws (EU GDPR, India DPDP, California CCPA/CPRA). You should read all sections carefully, and do not use our services if you disagree with any part of these terms.

Services and Eligibility

• Services Covered: These TOS apply to all Ezee2Host products and services, including web hosting plans (shared, VPS, cloud, etc.), email/Google Workspace services, and domain name registration/management.
• Contracting Entity: Ezee2Host operates under Medialix Communications LLP (India). When you sign up or make a purchase, you contract with Medialix Communications LLP (or its affiliate) as the service provider.
• Eligibility: You must be at least the age of majority (e.g. 18) to form a binding contract. You warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter these TOS, that you are not on any government sanctions list or otherwise prohibited person, and that you comply with all applicable laws (e.g. sanction regimes). You also agree that if you act on behalf of a company or organization, you have authority to bind that entity to this agreement.

Account Registration and Payment

• Account Setup: To use our services, you must register an account with a valid email address and password. We may require additional information (your name, postal address, phone number) for billing and verification. Providing accurate information is required by law (e.g. invoicing, ICANN domain rules). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Payment: Charges for services (hosting subscriptions, domain registrations, email plans, etc.) are billed as described on our site. All fees are in the currency stated, and payments must be timely. You agree to our billing terms (prepayment, auto-renewal, tax, etc.) and to keep a valid payment method on file. We may suspend or terminate your services for unpaid invoices or declined payments.
• Refunds/Cancellation: Our refund policy is described on our website and in any service agreement. Unless required by local law, payments for hosting and domains are typically non-refundable once the service is provisioned. (For example, domains may have an ICANN-mandated short renewal period during which a refund is possible, but beyond that domain fees are final.)

Domain Registration and ICANN Compliance

• Domain Agreements: By registering a domain name through Ezee2Host, you agree to our domain registration terms (and any ICANN-required Registrar and Registry agreements). You must provide accurate WHOIS/contact information for the domain registrant as required by ICANN. As of 2025, ICANN’s new Registration Data Policy ensures that registrars collect accurate data while complying with privacy laws.
• WHOIS Publishing: In accordance with ICANN policy, we submit your domain contact data to the registry. Default Privacy: Under the updated ICANN policy (effective Aug 2025), Ezee2Host by default masks personal contact fields in public WHOIS (RDDS) to comply with data protection laws. This means that, unless you request otherwise, your name and contact details will not appear in public WHOIS lookup results. (Some country-code or legacy TLDs may not allow privacy; in those cases the data is published as required by the registry.)
• Ownership: Per ICANN rules, the organization (if any) listed in your registrant info is considered the legal owner of the domain. You should ensure your registrant organization field is correct if you intend an organization to own the domain.
• Verification: We may require additional identity verification (such as government ID) to confirm registrant details, especially when registering premium domains or sensitive names. Failure to verify or provide false information can lead to suspension of the domain registration.

Use of Services

• Acceptable Use: You agree not to use Ezee2Host services for any unlawful or abusive purpose. This includes (but is not limited to) distributing illegal content, copyright infringement (no unauthorized use of copyrighted materials), sending spam or bulk unsolicited email, hacking, spreading malware, conducting phishing, or any activity that harms others or the network. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your services if you violate this policy. (See also our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference.)
• Resource Usage: You agree to use hosting resources responsibly. Activities like running abusive cryptocurrency miners, excessively high CPU usage on shared plans, or hosting illegal services are prohibited. Automated monitoring tools may limit or suspend accounts that exhibit suspicious or abusive patterns in order to protect service integrity.
• Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content stored or transmitted via our services. We disclaim liability for user-generated content. However, we will comply with valid takedown or court orders (e.g. DMCA notices in applicable jurisdictions) if required by law.

Intellectual Property

• Ezee2Host IP: Ezee2Host and Medialix Communications LLP own all proprietary rights in our trademarks, logos, software, and content. You may not use our trademarks or copyrighted materials without permission.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload or post. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content as needed to provide the service. We do not claim any ownership over your data or content.

Privacy and Data Protection

Ezee2Host treats privacy seriously. We implement “privacy by design” in accordance with GDPR, India’s DPDP, and other laws. We only collect personal data necessary to deliver services (account info, payment details, domain WHOIS data). All processing of your data has a lawful basis (e.g. performance of contract, legal compliance). Ezee2Host will comply with your legal rights: you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and obtain a portable copy. We do not “sell” personal data (so California’s Do-Not-Sell rules do not apply), and any marketing communications are sent only with your consent (you may opt out at any time). For data transfers: We may host or process data in India or other countries. Where we transfer EU/UK data outside those regions, we use EU-approved safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure protection.

Security: We employ strong security measures (encryption in transit, firewalls, secure data centers, etc.) to protect your data. We follow GDPR’s principle of “data minimization and accuracy”: we collect only needed information and keep it accurate and up-to-date, and retain it only as long as legally required. When possible, data is encrypted at rest and under strict access controls. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law. Customer Support and Communication

• Support: You may contact Ezee2Host support by email, ticket, chat, or phone. We log support interactions for quality. If calls are recorded, recordings are securely stored and deleted after 30 days.
• Official Notices: We will send you transactional emails or SMS (such as account alerts, renewal notices, security notices). These are essential to your account and cannot be opted out of.
• Marketing: Any promotional messages (newsletters, special offers) will only be sent if you opt in, and you may unsubscribe at any time. We respect privacy laws: if you are a California resident, you can request that we do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing (“Do Not Sell or Share”).

Fees, Billing & Refund Policy

• Fees: Service prices and billing terms are detailed on our website. By signing up, you agree to pay all fees at the rates and intervals selected. Taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax) may apply.
• Automatic Renewal: Unless you opt out, subscriptions and domains will renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current rate. We send renewal reminders in advance. You may cancel auto-renewal in your account dashboard.
• Refunds: All payments are non-refundable except as required by law. For example, if a domain purchase is still within ICANN’s allowable grace period, you may request a refund per ICANN rules. Otherwise, no refunds will be given for partial use of hosting time or domain periods. Please see our Refund Policy for details.

Intellectual Property and Complaints

• Copyright Infringement: If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice as required by law (e.g. a DMCA notice for U.S. jurisdictions) to the contact below. We will respond by removing or disabling access to the material if valid.
• Trademarks and Other Rights: If you have a complaint about content violating your rights (other than copyright), please contact us. We will investigate and take action as appropriate.

Termination

• Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Termination requests become effective immediately, but any paid fees are not refunded unless required by law.
• Termination by Ezee2Host: We may suspend or terminate your access and services if you breach these TOS or our policies. We may also terminate (with notice) for inactivity or insolvency. In the event of termination, we will give you reasonable notice so you can retrieve your data. After termination, we will delete or anonymize your personal data per our Data Retention policy (see Privacy Policy).
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to hosting, emails, and domains will end. You may need to back up your data before termination. We reserve the right to retain copies of data to the extent required by law (e.g. financial records for tax).

Liability and Disclaimers

• Service Availability: We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance may occur. We disclaim liability for damages or losses caused by downtime, data loss (though we offer backup tools) or any force majeure events.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ezee2Host (and Medialix Communications LLP) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
• No Warranties: We provide services “as is” and make no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except as required by applicable law.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (where Medialix Communications LLP is registered) or as otherwise required by law. Any dispute arising from these TOS or your use of our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of India. If you are an EU user, your local GDPR enforcement authorities retain jurisdiction for data protection issues.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and, if material, we will email you in advance. Your continued use of services after changes means you accept the updated terms. You have a right to terminate the agreement within 30 days of being notified of a material change.
